The after effects will be a few high clouds this morning all over Gran Canaria although the sun should break through in the afternoon. The middle of the week looks sunny in south Gran Canaria although there will be some high cloud towards the end of the week (especially in the mornings). 

North Gran Canaria gets cloudy mornings and sunnier afternoons.

There's a big swell at the moment with waves up to a metre along the north coast. There may even be something surfable in south Gran Canaria this week.
