Sunshine forecast this week in Gran Canaria

The last of the cloud and rain that affected north Gran Canaria over the weekend will fade by midday on Tuesday. The rest of the week will be warm and sunny all over the island.
This is thanks to a blast of east air that brings means warm nights and sunny days, but doesn't look like it will bring much airborne dust.
It will counter the Trade Winds and bring down the gusts that buffeted the north and east coasts during the last week.
Temperatures rise from Tuesday and should get to the mid-20s during the day with nighttime minimums just below 20ºC.
Basically, it's a beach week all around Gran Canaria and even the highlands will be sunny.
There's more to Arucas old town than the great big church. Walk up the narrow cobbled streets behind the cathedral for great old Canarian houses and local street life, then head down narrow Calle Gourié to the High Street (Calle León y Castillo).
