Temperatures could well hit 30ºC this weekend in south Gran Canaria thanks to warm eastern winds and clear skies. The only clouds will be the wispy sort high up in the atmosphere.
However, things change from Tuesday when the tail end of the weather system that's due to dump lots of rain on Mainland Spain arrives over the Canary Islands.
There's a good chance it'll bring a couple of cloudy and even rainy days in the middle of next week.
Enjoy the beaches this weekend and take care: The dust and high cloud can fool you into staying in the sun for too long.
