To shop for clothes in Gran Canaria on a Sunday, head up to Las Palmas (between October and April).

The Las Arenas and El Muelle shopping centres and Mesa y Lopez shopping street are open for business to cater to the city's cruise ship passengers.

Las Arenas has the biggest selection of shops and is close to the beach, Mesa y Lopez is outdoors and has great places to snack and eat, and El Muelle is right next to the Santa Catalina bus station and an easy walk from the beach.
