Tip Of The Day: Head To Salinetas Beach For A Taste Of East Gran Canaria

Salinetas is East Gran Canaria's prettiest beach Salinetas is East Gran Canaria's prettiest beach www.photosgrancanaria.com

Gran Canaria's east coast beaches are a mixed bag with everything from windswept pebble beaches to sheltered coves with golden sand. Salinetas beach is the prettiest and most accessible of the east beaches.

With fine sand, a pretty promenade, calm water and plenty of rock pools for the kids, Salinetas beach is an ideal spot for a beach stop in east Gran Canaria. Parking on weekdays in easy on the street just behind the beach. The only downside is that Salinetas beach is a bit short of food options. However, you are just 10 minutes walk south of Melenara beach with its famous seafood restaurants (some do pizza as well).

Salinetas beach is sunny most days and although it can be windy during the summer, it's the most sheltered of east Gran Canaria's beaches.
